This is been confusing me for days i'm obv new to bt (as the fact im posting in the beginner section) I set up an old laptop hp pavillion zv5000 with backtrack it has a broadcom 802.11 b/g wireless card in it but cant seem to get the drivers working on it and cant figure out where to start by setting it up, im trying to connect to a router with WEP also so any suggestions

it says injection is working and is seeing my router but im not quite sure how to set it up with the wep and all that good stuff
read his question, he's trying to connect to his own WEP network, so using aireplay, or setting his card to monitor is just confusing him. just open up wicd and find your AP and click advanced and enter your WEP key....if your using bt4 you should already know WEP is garbage so get yourself a helping of WPA
